From Hoarded House to Dream Home: Full Home Renovation Success Story

When we first stepped into this project, we were met with a house overwhelmed by years of severe hoarding. Beneath the clutter, we saw the true potential — a clean, beautiful, and welcoming home — and we were ready to bring that vision to life.

The Transformation Process

Once the home was ready for work, it became clear that deep structural and cosmetic repairs were needed: flooring, drywall, electrical, plumbing, and more.

We completely renovated every room, including:

• New Hardwood Floors: Installed beautiful hardwood flooring throughout the entire home to create a cohesive, modern foundation that adds warmth and timeless character.

• Walls and Ceilings: Repaired and refinished all drywall, adding fresh paint in warm, neutral tones to brighten and modernize every space.

• Kitchen Rebuild: Gutted and rebuilt the kitchen with clean white shaker cabinets, quartz countertops, and brand new appliances — creating a fresh, functional space perfect for cooking and gathering.

• Bathroom Remodels: Updated all bathrooms with new fixtures, vanities, tilework, and lighting to transform them from neglected to spa-like.

• Lighting Upgrades: Installed modern, energy-efficient lighting throughout to make every room feel more open and inviting.

• Basement Revitalization: Finished the basement into a usable, clean space for laundry and additional living or storage areas.

• Exterior Improvements: Painted and repaired the exterior to boost curb appeal and make the home as welcoming outside as it is inside.

The Result

What once was a dark, overwhelming, and unsafe environment is now a fresh, beautiful, and livable home — filled with light, warmth, and possibility. Every corner of the house was touched with care and craftsmanship, bringing out its full potential

Task

We took this project from a hoarding situation which included cats to give this home new life. From all new hardwood flooring throughout and updated bathrooms and kitchen. We also finished the bathroom, created a laundry area, and established an additional bathroom in the basement to increase the living area of the home.
